JAK’s gives back on Saturday, June 24

JAK'S Gives Back Celebrates 5th Anniversary, Making a Meaningful Impact on Local Communities

JAK's Beer Wine Spirits, a fourth-generation family-operated liquor retailer, is thrilled to announce the fifth anniversary of its annual 'JAK's Gives Back' initiative. This momentous occasion coincides with the highly anticipated grand reopening of the Fleetwood location, adding even more excitement and community involvement to the celebration.

Since its inception, 'JAK's Gives Back' has been a cornerstone of JAK's commitment to supporting local communities. On this special day, Saturday, June 24th, JAK's will donate a portion of sales from all 10 of its locations to local food banks. This initiative aims to address the increased demand for their services, especially during the summer months when donations tend to decline.

Through the generosity and support of our valued customers, JAK’s shattered records by making a remarkable donation of $27,000 to local food banks last year.

"We are proud to celebrate the fifth anniversary of 'JAK's Gives Back,' a testament to our ongoing dedication to make a positive impact in the communities we serve," said Tim Dumas, Chief Operation Officer at JAK'S. "Join us on June 24, either in-store or online, to replenish your favourite beverages and make a difference by restocking the shelves of your local food bank."

The donations from 'JAK's Gives Back' will benefit local food banks, including the Greater Vancouver Food Bank, The Saige Community Food Bank, Richmond Food Bank, SHARE Food Bank in Coquitlam, St. Joseph's Food Bank in Mission, Salvation Army Food Bank in Penticton, and the Surrey Food Bank Society. Through their contributions, JAK's aims to make a significant and lasting difference in the fight against hunger.
