Recipe: Isolation of Harris

JAK’s is the first in the province to receive the elusive Isle of Harris Gin, and though we had initially scheduled a launch with a West Coast splash, on account of social distancing measures we are bringing the launch to you. We have enlisted the expertise of local bar celebrity Jay Jones, now Bar Development Leader of the JOEY Restaurant Group, to craft a unique cocktail showcasing Harris Gin.

For those wanting to imbibe a delicious liquid treat they can concoct at home, try Jay’s Isolation of Harris cocktail found below:

Isolation of Harris

  • 1.5 oz of Harris Gin

  • .5 oz of St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur

  • .5 oz of Giffard Abricot de Roussillon

  • 1 oz of fresh squeezed lemon juice

  • 2 dashes of Angostura Bitters

Combine all ingredients and shake with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass of your choosing. Sip and enjoy the moment.
